Anja von Waldberg

Anja holds a special place in our hearts. She is a von Waldberg dog, born here, who showed so much promise that we chose to keep her. We are glad we did. Anja has a huge heart. She is always ready to cuddle up next to you and when she has puppies she is one of the most devoted and caring mothers we have ever had. She is instantly protective and nurturing of anyone she sees as needing love. She has a beautiful, sleek face that her puppies often inherit, and she has kind eyes that always seem to have a sparkle to them. She is sensitive to your emotions and will empathize with you when you are upset, often just by coming over and letting you know she's there.

Yet, as loving as she is, Anja has a mind of her own and a sense of humor. If she is out playing she never runs. She scampers, darting back and forth and dancing around you. She is incredibly smart and knows just how to engage you in a game of chase yet she comes when called and knows when playtime is over, it becomes work time. Anja produces beautiful puppies that carry her kindness and intelligence including our resident mascot Cricket! She will always be a huge part of von Waldberg.
