Training FAQs
Due to the individual nature of a dog and handler relationship, it is impossible to guarantee results. However, with consistent follow-through and dedication from the handler, our program is designed to produce lasting results.
Yes, if that is the right motivation for the dog. We will work with you to determine the best way to motivate your dog.
Each dog is an individual. Your trainer will work with you to determine what equipment is appropriate for your goals and will teach you how to use it effectively.
We offer drop-in classes throughout the week. If you are actively enrolled in a class, you may attend a drop-in at no charge.
It will depend on the level and severity of the behavior. We do not specialize in extreme human aggression or dog reactivity and have specialists we can refer you to if we are not the best fit.
Absolutely. We offer a complimentary 30-minute evaluation with one of our training team so you can meet us and discuss your goals. If you decide we are the right fit, we will help place you in the class that is most appropriate.
We have a 60’ x 100’ indoor training center, so you never have to worry about training in the rain. In the event of snow, please reach out to us at training@vonwaldberg.com to check road conditions. Never drive if you are uncomfortable. Your safety comes first.
You are always welcome to reach out directly to your trainer or email us at training@vonwaldberg.com.
Please refer to our course calendar. You may book through the calendar or email us at training@vonwaldberg.com if you need assistance. We offer classes on the weekend and weekday afternoons/evenings. You can schedule private training sessions if you need a different time.
In all our classes, we work on appropriate social interactions. However, we do not do free play during lessons.
