Our Young Adults

If you are interested in adding a VWK Shepherd to your family, but would prefer not to bring a puppy home, we routinely keep promising pups from our litters and raise them here until they find their forever home. We also occasionally import exceptional young dogs from Germany. Our young adults range in age from a few months to a few years, have been started in their training and are ready to become a member of your family.

Zach von Waldberg

Zach came back because his family no longer had the time to give him the love and attention that they believed he needed and deserved. They gave him a loving home while they could and did a good job putting foundational training on him. Since coming back to us, we have been working on polishing up his training.

He was born in August of last year to Ossy and Iron who are two of our dogs that we all loved, that since have retired. When he was born, he had the cutest little white beard and white toes. Now that he is all grown up, he reminds us a lot of his father, Iron looks wise. Zach also got the perfect blend of his parent’s personalities. He got the playful side of his mom and the snuggly side from his dad.

If you are looking for a one year old male, out of lines that we love that has some training on him, you should come meet Zach.

Sorry! We Currently Don’t Have Any Available Young Adults.

However, we can import one directly from Germany for you and we routinely select puppies from our litters, raise and begin training them. These puppies will go home after five months of age. Please reach out with any questions or requests. We are happy to help you find the perfect companion.

Guma the Gentleman

Guma is out of one of our recent import litter. His mom Poula was breed to one of the most sought after males in Germany at this moment named Heartbreaker Herman. Since his father has heartbreaker in his name and he is out of our G-litter, we had to add Gentleman to his name and he definitely lives up to his name.

For his age, he is very respectful about boundaries and truly just wants to please his humans. He loves snuggles just like his mom and his big puppy dog eyes will have you wrapped around his paw within seconds.

Guma has been started on foundational training including leash walking, being crated and basic obedience which he has been doing well with. He has been a fast learner and problem solver from the beginning and does not shy away from any situation he is thrown into. Guma will make a great companion for his future family.

Hela von Waldberg

Hela has been a staff favorite since the day she was born and we honestly thought that she would be the first one to go home from her 13 siblings. When she got keeping passed on, we chose to keep her back to start her foundational training. She has been introduced to different training tools, has been crate trained and started on foundational obedience along with solid manners.

Looks and personality wise, Hela is starting to remind us a lot of her mom Quaba. She loves to play and snuggle and is a great “all-rounder”. While she loves people and would like to be with you at all times, she also has no problem entertaining herself. Whenever Hela is in the reception room, she makes it her mission to take all the toys out of the toy box to play with all of them.

If you are looking for a sweet yet playful female, Hela might be the right fit for you. She will become available to an approved home at the end of October when her training is a little more solidified and she is a little older.

Honey von Waldberg

Honey is just as sweet as her name. We decided to keep her back from Quaba and Quabs’s litter of 14 to start her training for clients that want a puppy with some training that is a little older and will sleep through the night. She has been introduced to different training tools, started on basic obedience and has been crate trained.

She is a smart, confident and adventurous little girl that wants to explore the world with her new family. Honey is always up for a new adventure and does not shy away from challenges that she might encounter on the way.

If you are looking for a female to join you on your adventures, you should come meet Honey. She will become available to an approved home at the end of October when her training is a little more solidified and she is a little older.
